About Mingo

Mingo started in 2018 when we got frustrated with the existing MongoDB tools. They were either too slow, too complex, or just not enjoyable to use. We knew there had to be a better way to work with MongoDB data.

We built the first prototype using Meteor to validate the idea quickly. It worked — developers loved the speed and simplicity. But we needed a more solid foundation to build on.

So we rebuilt Mingo from scratch with Vue.js and Electron, focusing on performance and an intuitive UX. Today, Mingo is used by thousands of developers and companies around the world to manage their MongoDB databases faster and more efficiently.
